The hip place to be.

The hip place to be is right at home, can of cooking lager in hand. News that staying in is the new going out, is right here. If you still go to pubs, well that’s so last year.

So are you an old fuddy duddy pub goer that wants to get with the fashion, daddio? Check out all the great cooking lager deals here and here.

Use a calculator to work out the price of a pint, and soon you can be down with the kids and hip to the trend.

With all the money you save, why not take your missus somewhere nice, and get some lovin’ Cheers.

If the maths are correct, the Tesco Value Lager comes in at 5.2p/100ml.
That is solid value. The Triple Filtered Stella at 15.2p/100ml is also strong value for a special occasions brew. I think you're on to something.

Fantastic. Maybe this will keep the riff-raff at home and leave more room at the bar for me. But I bet the kids will still be out at weekends, getting in the way. And no doubt I will still be expected to put up with the sudden rush of amateur home drinkers who decide that at Xmas and the New Year they must go to the pub.

If this is successful, though, it could mean a rise in the quality of pubs whilst at the same time making them more competitive. The future's looking bright!

Hmmm. Actually you've given me an idea for a post on just how cheap pub-life can be. Ta.
